Ahhh summer summer summer. It's going pretty well so far if I do say so myself, but I've been so lazy it's crazy. I haven't updated in two weeks! Only three more weeks and it's back to school. I mean I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited to start cegep. I LOVE summer of course, but I'm definitely ready to get started with securing my future. Also the fun part is coming up -- school supplies shopping! Don't you love starting the year with shiny new supplies? And you haven't lost anything yet either haha :P I usually love the beggining of the year and the end of the year, now if only we could skip the middle! :P
I've made a couple of graphics recently as well as a new layout for my portfolio. I'm too lazy to repost them in this post specifically so just go to my portfolio to check it out.
Also my piano teacher just called and she said that she twisted her ankle or something like that so she wouldn't be able to give me any more piano classes this summer... *cough* I feel terrible for her and I hpoe she gets well soon, but seriously THANK FUCKING GOD I hadn't practiced at all -- I honest to god really forgot about my class that was supposed to be tomorrow. I don't I would have even gone if it was canceled, that's how much I forgot about it!
In other new Malak has invited me to the water park on saturday... That girl is so crazy I swear -- she plans on inviting at LEAST 30-40 people so we can get the group price! I half want to go because it's malak and it's bound to be crazy, but I already have plans for a small get together at Jessie's house. We're going to make a cake like last year and hang... Anyways I don't think I'll be going because I was supposed to confirm today at latest 5, but mom and dad are at work and I forgot to ask them yesterday. Oh well!

It's kindof really pretty stupid to have been eagerly waiting for it, since it doesn't count in my future career path what so ever, but it still made me really happy. I had a great feeling about them while I was actually doing them, so I'm really pleased with my results, especially since I didn't put nearly as much studying into them as I did the other year hahah. Yada yada yada, sure, they could be BETTER, but it's just the confidence booster I need to start cegep on the right foot.
My term 4 average is 94 (damn, I wish they hadn't taken off the decimals), which brings my overall average to 93. I pretty much got great marks in the subjects that really matter, though -- I've collected a 99 in chemistry (teehee ♥), 97 in physics, 98 in math, 94 in history, 97 in economy (the exam that I had ONLY READ the notes ONCE, take that mme bourgeois) and 96 in enriched english. I got okay in french -- 88, but I'm not to phased about that one. I also got 95 in phys. ed., 94 in TMS, 96 in reglious studies (lmaooooooo i could be jewish, i got 100% in that exam). I got a CT (100) mark in physics lab, which is like wow because we usually never get full marks on anything that requires interpretation, so HAHA M. FORGET TAKE YOUR ABYSMAL TEACHING AND SHOVE IT U

Anyway, I'm gonna continue reading Harry Potter now, haha -- I seem to have misplaced my 3rd and 4th book :'( so I've read the 1st, 2nd, 2/3s of the 5th and the 7th book. When I'm done with the 5th I'll obviously move on the the half blood prince, WHICH THE MOVIE IS OUT SOON HURRAY! I'm going to get see i with family on the day of the premiere. Hopefully we'll be able to get seats all together, who knows how many people will be there and we're always such a large group. I absolutely cannot wait, I see posters and trailers of it everywhere! ONTD has a lot of premiere news about the actors out promoting it too, so I'm really itching to see it now. I think I might even have to go see it twice, because Jessica wants to see it with me too, but we'll talk about that when she gets back from florida. Btw transformers was sickkk! :) Tomorrow I'm gonna go swimming with some friends, lets pray to god the weather's going to be like meteomedia predicts it, if not I will cut a bitch because it's been raining so much lately it's not like summer D:
Also I've been browsing www.coastalscents.com enviously -- they have some great cheapish make up :( The only shitty thing is the shipping, ughhh. I really want to get the 88 eyeshadow palette (look at all the colours omg, so pretty) and the contour + blush set (need a proper bronzer that doesn't look orange like the one I have now). Why not throw in some gel eyeliner (apparently it lasts longer) and an angled brush to apply it? hahaha. If only the shipping wasn't 15$.

Ahhh! The official release date for the record is July 7th, and I've been looking forward to it for a while. I wanted to buy the pre-order kit on glamourkills cause there was a pretty awesome teeshirt included, but I never got around to it. But obviously, as most record do, it leaked online -- I'm guilty of having a listen before tomorrow, july 7th D:
But that being said, it's pretty fucking awesome :') Some songs are AMAZING, and some are okay, but they're starting to grow on me too. There's only one song I don't really like, but for the rest they're pretty good ("Too much", the song is just weird). As usual, Alex's lyrics are pretty good -- that's always a plus. I really like the way he writes, the metaphors and just the way he uses the words. But not all of them, some lyrics are cringe-worthy D: I also quite like the album cover, in my opinion it's second best after So Wrong, It's Right. The single cover for "Damned if I do ya (damned if I don't)" is quite the work of art too! I loved it.
So there were two singles already officially released: Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't) and Weightless. Weightless was out first, and at first I really thought it was pretty ordinary (not bad, just okay). I was worried for the rest of the album, but now that I've actually really listened to it a lot it's not quite that bad. It's not my favorite song off the album, but it's not within the last either. Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't) was a really pleasant surprise -- the song really applied to my situation at the time and the song melody is really good. I mean with the whole Michel thing back when the song came out was great timing -- I was damned if I did him, but still damned if I didn't. Ahh! :)
Sick Little Games has a really good melody, albeit ordinary lyrics. I like to sing along to that one. Stella also has a singable chorus, and it really reminds me of Holly Would You Turn Me On from So Wrong, It's Right. Break Your Little Heart kindof makes me laugh, which I don't think was Alex's intention but the lyrics are pretty ridiculous so if he was trying to be all badass and frustrated erm... fail.
Overall I'd really recommend: Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't), Break Your Little Heart, Stella, Sick Little Games -- those are my ALL time favourite songs that I really really like. Then there's Weightless, Therapy, Lost in Stereo and Keep The Change, You Filthy Animal that are also pretty good. Actually, like I said, Too Much is the only song I don't really feel on this record.

This is a trailer my team and I made (but honestly I had the idea, found most of the scenes and did ALL the editing *cough* I was really into it, very inspired) for an english assignment (a trailer for the book "Fahrenheit 451")
Obviously in my head it was much better, but eh, it's not too shabby. :P

maybe it's not my weekend, but it's gonna be my year.
I seriously CANNOT wait until the end of the year. Everything will be so awesome this year, with graduation and everything! There's prom, that I am SUPER fucking excited for -- I'm getting makeup and hair done, then possible nails with my friends and then I'll be going over to Anne-Marie's house to help her get ready and give her a ride. Christine is in Europe atm and MQ is going to meet up with her so they'll both not be there for my prom, but they took care of everything -- the appointments and stuff <33 MA is coming to the cocktail though :D I'm going to look gorgeous at prom! Then there's after-prom ;) Mom and Dad took it surprisingly well that I was going to have a "date" for prom, gosh everything is going perfect. Fuckkk and next friday is the day they give us our diplomas, aahhh!
I'm almost done with high school! :D Only 10 school days left, and then a couple of exams, and THEN IT'S DONE. I am SO ready for CEGEP. Also, Co 8 is coming to Montreal with Spencer again, which means more family activities during summer! Not to mention all the shopping I'm going to have to do in prevision for next year! AHH!
Also tomorrow is the Meritas, I'm nominated again this year :) I have been for the last 4 years, so I've gotten at least one every year of my secondary! :D I'm not expecting many this year, but at leat I have one -- Jessica doesn't even get one and she's like a genius D:
*flails all over the place* this is such an exciting period of time for me.
Also off-topic: I've started watching 24 (well, season 7, anyways) and it's pretty good! Not my fav show, but the concept is interesting and the plots are captivating! Currently waiting for MQ to get home so we can watch some more ahhaah. Also omg I can't wait until Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is out (july 15th) and Transformers 2! (june 24th, LOL).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO -SUICIDE- YESTERDAY WAS THE ALL TIME LOW SHOW IN CEPSUM AKA NEXT TO MY SCHOOL AND I DIDN'T GO, because Fall Out Boy were headlining thus the tickets were expensive and ATL would probably play 2-3 songs... So that got me really bummed all day AND THEN TWITTER INFORMS ME THAT PATRICK FUCKING LANGLOIS and seblefebvre were THERE in the CROWD, general admission.

I've had this sharp pinching pain in my armpit since yesterday when I lift or use any force in my left arm D: I've googled it and I concluded I have swollen lymph nodes. The pain has gotten a lot better since yesterday, but it's still there when I lift my arm up really high.
Swollen lymph nodes are caused by infections, because that's where the lymphocytes destroy bacteria/viruses -- it's basically where we fight infections. Googling it also worried me, because it CAN be a sign of lymphoma or breast cancer... And all that talk about the swine flu isn't helping either.
I'm really hoping it'll go away soon by itself (google says 2-4 weeks should be recovery time if nothing is wrong). It makes me feel better that it says it's pretty common amongst children.
